SYNTEX provides basic health care and medical treatment for all the workers of the factory under a University of Michigan funded program promoted by Michigan International Development and a local NGO. We have a full time doctor & nurse available daily at the factory. Under this program we maintain medical records for every worker, and provide access to free medical treatment and Medicine. Every worker employed by Syntex is certified by the local authorities to be healthy and meet the minimum age requirements. We also maintain records of the number of hours worked and salary paid to each worker. All our workers are paid as per guidelines set by Government of Bangladesh. We also provide the workers with adequate toilets and sanitation, dining facilities, fire exits, health and safety equipment. We strive to meet each and every compliance requirement of every customer.
